Hi!
My name is Shelly Plum, I am a wife and mother of 3 wonderful boys. I’m so happy that I can help contribute to my family’s needs through a passion of mine! I originally bought my first camera for personal use. I wanted to be able to capture the Aurora and take it along hiking with me. Then.. then I was introduced to Portrait Photography! I had no idea how much I would have fallen in love with it! The emotions, the pure love and joy of a family, or at a wedding, just magical!
In the beginning of 2019 I began my aviation journey as well. I got to see what it was like to fly a Cessna 172 and was hooked immediately! I worked hard and it took me almost a complete 2 years to get it done but in October of 2020 I was finally a licensed pilot!
I plan to add this to my photography business as soon as I get a little more training and hopefully find that perfect aircraft to fly people out to amazing Alaskan locations for unique photos not everyone can get in or near Anchorage. So stay tuned for that!
I love getting to know my clients and honestly, most have become my good friends. I am just so grateful to have found this beautiful career! I get to share my love of the outdoors while picking great locations for sessions, then I get to interact and capture these beautiful moments in time, all while making new friends. I truly love my job!
